Welcome to New Mexico Tech Community Education and Outreach

New Mexico Tech is home to a unique Community Education and Outreach program. We provide credit and non-credit classes that include 16 week semester courses, mini courses, and full or half day workshops.

Our classes include Physical Recreation, Fine Arts, Health and Wellness, Certification Programs, and general Community Education.

Our mission is to provide enrichment and life long learning for our students, faculty, staff and community. Our program outcome statement is that students will learn to balance curricular expectations with leisure activities.

The student learning outcomes for the Fine Arts is that students will develop an understanding of the relationship between creative arts and the educational experience that can be applied in their fields.

The student learning outcomes for the Physical Recreation area is that the students will learn to apply healthy activities to a rigorous life style.
